Scored at Nordstrom Sale

I hit the Nordstrom Sale this weekend and scored big. I went shopping at South Coast Plaza mall in Costa Mesa, California. For those in the know, the Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza has a bigger selection of shoes and apparel. The sale is also happening online at the Nordstrom website, but I've noticed the website does not always reflect the better deals I received when shopping in the store. Here's a list of what I got:

Furniture Finds at Crate & Barrel and Ikea

I've been shopping at Crate & Barrel and Ikea for new office furniture. These are the pieces I'm considering. The Nines Apartment Sofa from Crate & Barrel is my favorite.

Working Mom Shops for Office Furniture

Time to shop for office furniture. Here are photos of my trip to TR Trading Company a large office furniture warehouse. TR Trading located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, sells new and used office furniture. They have great deals on used furniture and their stock changes weekly. I'm thinking about picking up a few used Eames chairs.

Working Mom's New Office

After starting a business and signing a lease, the tenant improvements on the new office are finished. A few walls were built and a few were eliminated. The walls were painted and carpet and flooring installed. I'm very happy with the new red wall. The next step will be furnishing the office by way of Ikea or Crate and Barrel. Wish me luck.

Working Mom in NYC - Food

Check out my NYC foodie pics and you'll see why I gained 5 pounds in a week. I was in NYC during the failed bombing of Times Square, but I had no idea because I was in the East Village trying to get into Momofuku Ssam Bar for dinner (I didn't get in). I'm relieved that nothing terrible happened in Times Square. I heart NY.

Saturday at the Brooklyn Flea

On Saturday it was 86 degrees in NYC, so we travelled to Brooklyn to visit the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene. The Brooklyn Flea is held on Saturdays in Fort Greene and Sundays at One Hanson. The food booths were amazing. Definitely worth the trip. Here are my photos:
